DUBLIN PORT TUNNEL

The €752m Dublin Port Tunnel opened to traffic in December 2006. Spanning 5.6km of motorway and acting as a link between Dublin Port and the national motorway network, Dublin Port Tunnel was the largest civil engineering project in Ireland.

Featuring a twin bore tunnel 4.5km in length and with a height clearance of 4.65m, the tunnel is one of the largest urban tunnels of its kind in Europe.

CEM’s AC2000 access control and security management system was selected to secure this site, and installed by CEM Approved Reseller ADT UK & Ireland.
